Getting Started

For some reason I got the urge to want to start blogging. I never thought of myself as a writer or a blogger, but sometimes I would find it difficult to actually say out loud what I’m thinking. With so many thoughts, plans, ideas, inspirations, travel experiences; all while still learning, I thought what better way to get these thoughts out of my mind and put to good use.
At first I considered doing a traveling blog.

Rather than just jumping in head first I did some research on other travel bloggers. I automatically got discouraged. My first thought was, “My pictures would never look this amazing”. There were blogs and pictures of people standing on top of the highest mountains and in the deepest oceans.

I mentioned to a few family members and friends about starting the blog and they always encouraged me to keep my urge going. Despite my doubts, I have finally decided to start my blog. So here I am today officially “Getting It Started”

I’ve decided not only to make it a travel blog, but also an inspirational outlet for anyone who continually doubt themselves. My goal here is to motivate people to live in the now, be aware of this present moment, take risks and enjoy life! I will also bring you along on my travel journeys.  I want to show you that your word is powerful. Once you say it, feel it and believe it, you can achieve it. Speaking your wants and desires into existence.

I am excited to be sharing this journey with you all. Hope you enjoy !
